Tracked. Signed.
Confirmed in writing.
GPS-tracked delivery across Uganda and neighbouring corridors. Signed by the recipient. Photographed at handover. Delivery confirmation pack issued within 24 hours.
§ 02 · SCOPE
The last leg, handled
to the same standard as the rest.
Most logistics chains treat last-mile delivery as the easiest part. It is where accountability typically ends: a driver drops cargo at a gate and leaves. Granite Gate treats last-mile as a custody transfer. The recipient signs. The condition is recorded. The handover is photographed.
OUTSIDE THIS SERVICE
- Installation or assembly at destination
- White-glove in-home delivery
- Cold-chain or temperature-controlled delivery
- Deliveries requiring specialist vehicle types not in the Granite Gate fleet

§ 03 · PROCESS
Five steps from bond to delivered.
Every step documented.
01
Release instruction
The client instructs delivery in writing from the bonded warehouse or dispatch point. Delivery address, recipient name, and any access or scheduling requirements confirmed at this stage.
02
Route and scheduling
The file owner confirms the delivery vehicle, driver, route, and delivery window. For multi-point deliveries, a delivery schedule is shared with the client before departure.
03
GPS-tracked transit
The delivery vehicle is GPS-tracked from departure to arrival. The client and file owner have visibility on real-time location throughout the delivery leg.
04
Handover and sign-off
At delivery, the recipient signs the delivery confirmation form. Condition of cargo is recorded at handover. Photographs are taken as standard. Named recipient verification is applied where the client requires it.
05
Confirmation pack
A delivery confirmation pack is issued within 24 hours: signed delivery form, photographs, GPS delivery record, and handover timestamp. This closes the file on the delivery leg.
